Bad polls for Biden? MSNBC has a fix for that!

On her MSNBC show on Saturday, Katie Phang's guest, Molly Jong-Fast of Vanity Fair, citing NYU journalism professor Jay Rosen, said that journalists, instead of writing stories about polls, should focus instead on the "stakes" of the election.

And just what are those "stakes?" According to Rosen, the stakes are nothing less than "the consequences for American democracy."

A dominant theme in the liberal media, as we have noted here and here, is that Trump represents an existential threat to the survival of democracy in America. So what Rosen and Jong-Fast are, in effect, saying is that journalists should put aside their traditional role of reporting the facts, and instead scaremonger their audience as to the dangers that the election of Trump would represent.

Jong-Fast warned that without democracy, "there will be no journalism." And since Trump, in the liberal-media mind, would end democracy, his election would also mean the end of journalism.

MSNBC’s Psaki, Vitali Find Haley Attacks Against Trump ‘Unsatisfying’



JEN PSAKI: So, Ali, let's start with you, because you interviewed Governor Haley today. She had some interesting things to say. Let's play a clip of that and we can talk about it on the other end.
ALI VITALI: In your stump speech you often say that chaos follows Trump, fairly or unfairly. What’s an example of fair chaos that has followed the former president?
NIKKI HALEY: Oh. I mean, look at his Twitter at any point in time. Look at the fact he feeds off of chaos. Like, he creates it by, you know, going on temper tantrums, or creating rants, or saying things that he shouldn't say that we don't want dictators to hear. He creates that chaos.
PSAKI: It’s kind of an unsatisfying attack line. Just putting my cards on the table here. But what else did she have to say during your interview?
VITALI: Well, the other half of that, right? Because in her stump speech she says he's chaotic, fairly or unfairly. There's the fair stuff. The unfair stuff, she says, are the politically-minded cases that he is defending in court. Some of them, anyway. She points out Manhattan, for example. But that’s a pretty unsatisfying answer, too. And I think the thing that we are seeing consistently with Nikki Haley is a lot of these key issues, especially those that relate to Trump, she really does find a way to be on both sides of them. Be it January 6th, the cases, the chaos. Even the things that she brings up, she’s bringing up with an “I’m sorry” on the mental fitness front, or, she’s doing it kind of out of both sides of her mouth.

Is it the role of a Republican presidential candidate to “satisfy” these Democrat apparatchiks with an attack on the GOP frontrunner? It would seem so, given Vitali and Psaki’s response to what Haley was putting forth.

First, it was ABC’s Mary Bruce getting after Vice President Kamala Harris. “What are you guys waiting for?”, she demanded of the vice president.

Now, we get the former Biden White House Press Secretary and an NBC News political reporter echoing that line of argument. And in both cases, Trump is the intended target of these “unsatisfactory” attacks.


You never hear about such insufficiencies when covering campaigns against incumbent Democrats. It is at that point, precisely, that the journalists go from decrying the insufficiency of the attacks to decrying the attacks as disinformation. The naked partisanship is right there, on full display.

I don’t know what Psaki and Vitali were expecting from Haley, given that she is still competing in a (nominally) contested GOP primary. But such is the state of modern news analysis.

Jordan Rubin, a legal blog writer at MSNBC, is getting very very nervous to the point of appearing to anxiously rub worry beads over the delay the U.S. Court of Appeals is taking to rule on Donald Trump's immunity appeal which threatens to also delay his J6 trial scheduled for March 4. Here is Rubin on Friday in a state of high anxiety over the appeal delay in "What’s taking the Trump immunity appeal ruling so long?"

It’s been more than two weeks and still no word from the U.S Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit panel that heard argument Jan. 9. While there’s no single satisfying answer to this pressing question, there are some factors we can identify to help understand what’s at play.
First, the judges know that this opinion needs to be airtight. Whatever they decide will inevitably be appealed, which would mean not only their colleagues on the full D.C. Circuit — in what’s known as en banc review — but also potentially Supreme Court justices reviewing their work. While some observers are eager for a ruling as soon as possible to avoid further delay of Trump’s federal election interference trial, which technically is set to start March 4, whether the opinion takes weeks instead of days isn’t the judges’ greatest concern. That said, the court agreed to consider the case on an expedited timeline — they didn’t do that to take months to issue a ruling, even if they might wish they had more time for this historic case.

MSNBC Continues Their Attack on Christianity





A guest on the left-wing network, Heidi Pryzbala, who is also an investigative reporter for Politico, said:

The one thing that unites all of them because there is many different group orbiting Trump, but the thing that unites them as Christian nationalists, not Christians by the way, because Christian nationalist is very different, is that they believe that our rights as a Americans, as all human beings don't come from any earthly authority. They don't come from Congress, they don't come from the Supreme Court, they come from God.






Maybe the so-called investigative reporter should read the Declaration of Independence because she is wrong, but nobody on that network seems to care as long as they make their viewers fear the term and those who identify as "Christian nationalists."

According to the Founding Fathers, our rights came from God.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Per The Rights of the Colonists:

These [rights] may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institutes of the great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament.

Lastly, per John Quincy Adams:

[T]he Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer’s mission upon earth. …[and] laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity.

They float the term "Christian nationalist" to scare the public from those who believe their Lord and Savior is Jesus Christ, and that, yes, our rights do come from God. The majority, if not the overwhelming majority of Christians believe that, whether they identify as nationalists or not.

This seems to be an ongoing occurrence on the left-wing network. Pryzbala is not the only person who attacks Christians and Christianity on MSNBC.

Joy Reid, one of MSNBC's famous hosts, once said Evangelical Christianity is "Talibanism."

Politico Reporter on MSNBC Frets That Christian Nationalists Believe Americans’ Rights Come From God, Not the Government (VIDEO)



Heidi Przybyla, a reporter for Politico, appeared on MSNBC this week and fretted as she explained that Christian Nationalists believe that Americans’ rights are granted by God and not Congress or the Supreme Court.

Leaving aside her ridiculous distinctions between Christian Nationalists and other Christians, the rights of Americans DO come from God and not the government, which anyone knows if they have read the country’s founding documents.

How is this person even allowed to comment on politics on TV with this level of dishonesty or stupidity? This is a perfect example of why trust in the media is in the gutter.

HEIDI PRZYBYLA: I talked with a lot of experts on this and I have seen it with my reporting, Michael, which is that the base of the Republican Party has shifted. Remember when Trump ran in 2016, a lot of the mainline evangelicals wanted nothing to do with the divorced real estate mogul who cheated on his wife with a porn star, and all of that.
So what happened was that he was surrounded by this more extremist element. We are going to hear words like Christian nationalism, like the “new apostolic reformation.” These are groups that you should get very schooled on because they have a lot of power in Trump’s circle. And the one thing that unites all of them because there’s many different groups orbiting Trump.
But the thing that unites them as Christian nationalists, not Christians because Christian nationalists are very different, is that they believe that our rights as Americans and as all human beings do not come from any Earthly authority. They don’t come from Congress, from the Supreme Court, they come from God. The problem with that is that they are determining, men, are determining what God is telling them. In the past, that so-called “natural law,” it is a pillar of catholicism for instance, it has been used for good in social justice campaigns. Martin Luther King evoked it in talking about civil rights.




Let us be clear ..... she means WHITE Christians, she would not dare to include Black Churches in this analysis

During the pandemic, Przybyla couldn’t accurately comment on a story about an Arizona couple who allegedly took hydroxychloroquine, which led to tragic results. The outlet tried to blame Trump, but the pair ingested chloroquine phosphate, fish tank cleaner, which isn’t the same thing. So, are we shocked this segment on Christian nationalism was botched?





Catholic Bishop Robert Barron saw the clip and took to social media, calling it ‘one of the most disturbing and frankly dangerous things I’ve ever seen in a political conversation.’ He pointed out that Jefferson is the one who penned the concept of our inalienable rights coming from God while adding the obvious: rights that come from the government can be taken away. Hence, why this flawed government theory is fertile ground for totalitarianism. He noted this isn’t a debate about religious nationalism but an outline of “one of the sanest principles of our democratic governance.”

You don't have to believe in God to understand the basic premise of the Bill of Rights - and the rest of the Constitution. You just have to understand that the Founding Fathers believed and set forth that man is BORN with the right to be free - that it is a basic human right to be able to say what you want, do what you want, believe and worship as you want. People have not risen up for these things because they thought that government should CHANGE the laws - they did it because they believe it is THEIRS ALREADY. They FIGHT because they believe the government is TAKING something that is theirs.

Hence the basic writing of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights - "Congress shall make no law....". And "shall not be violated". The Constitution does not GRANT rights - it protects them. It was written as a HEDGE around what the government is ALLOWED to do, because YOU own the government. You were BORN TO BE FREE, just as every creature on Earth. This is not a "Christian Nationalist" view, as the Founding Fathers were not as such - Christians as a matter of policy.

The concept of the government being the source of your freedoms - that's a Communist/Marxist idea.

Trump was already President once. He had a great Presidency.
Now these shtheads think they can frighten people into not voting for him again?

Trump isn't trying to take over our country by importing illegals to vote, by allowing Nationalists Chinese into the country, by having some dipsht like John Kerry wanting to starve us all to save the world.
This woman isn't that stupid, she is trying to control the ones who are that stupid.
